推薦+English for MICE(SB with MP3)
ENGLISH FOR MICE
English for MICE is designed to help those in the Meetings Incentives Conferences and Exhibitions industry and those considering a career in MICE to become confident, competent speakers of English.
Twelve units comprehensively cover a wide variety of situations in which PCO (Professional Conference Organizer) and PEO (Professional Exhibitions Organizer) practitioners would be expected to use English, such as when selecting a venue, at site visits, or going through registration procedures.
A Teacher’s Manual complements the Student Book and provides step-by-step, user-friendly guidelines, as well as additional exercises.
FEATURES
Speaking and Listening focus
Every unit contains a sustained listening exercise followed by a variety of questions. Speaking exercises based on the recorded conversations encourage fluency and accuracy. Tapescripts in the Student Book and an accompanying MP3 of the conversations allow students to practice on their own.
Reading
Readings titled Q&A in each unit provide information on a variety of issues connected with MICE, and further practice in reading aloud to build speaking confidence.
Vocabulary and Grammar
Every unit begins with vocabulary practice relevant to the unit. Grammar focuses on specific problems and on areas that are often overlooked, such as how to make language polite, differences between American English and British English, and differences between written and spoken English.
Teacher’s Manual
A supportive Teacher’s Manual provides warm-up exercises, comprehensive grammar guidance, and explanations on how to get the most out of the exercises. It includes an answer key, vocabulary definitions, and notes on the tapescripts.
